Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
A UTI is a bacterial infection of the urinary tract. They're very common, particularly in women.
Common symptoms
- A burning or stinging sensation when you pee
- Needing to pee more often or more urgently
- Cloudy or strong-smelling urine
- Discomfort low in the tummy
How we can help
Our pharmacist can assess your symptoms discreetly and in confidence, advise on treatment or referral, and suggest self-care steps to help you feel more comfortable.
When to seek further advice
Please see your GP promptly if you notice blood in your urine, have a fever or pain in your back or side, are pregnant, or if symptoms affect a man, a child, or an older adult — these can be signs the infection needs closer attention.
